CZ: Herkules je souhvezdí na severní obloze. Rozsáhlé, páté nejvetší, ale pomerne neprehledné souhvezdí predstavuje hrdinu reckých mýtu Herkula. Již starými civilizacemi byl na obloze zpodobnován jako klecící obr. Herkules leží mezi Lyrou a Severní korunou a nejsnadneji ho identifikujeme pomocí výrazného ctyrúhelníku hvezd, který pripomíná kvetinác.
