The tiny village of Caputh lies in eastern Perthshire in Scotland on the A984 road that runs through the countryside between Coupar Angus and Dunkeld. Its parish church is situated on the south side of the road on the west edge of the village.
The church was completed in 1800, two years after work had commenced, and has been added to since. The lychgate was added in 1928.
The lychgate is situated at the roadside and is in an English style, built of iron and wood with a slated roof. The '1928' date is inscribed on the front above the archway.
