While most of the shoreline does NOT allow dogs, even on a leash, there is a 100m section south of the southern break water wall that is shown to be Leash-Free. [That is, the northern end of Washhouse Beach only.]

Dogs must be under effective (verbal) control and supervised at all times; and female dogs on heat are not to be exercised here.
