The museum is operated by Werner Schmidt, one of the most famous professional crystal hunters in the Valais. On the ground floor there is a shop for crystals and minerals; the museum is on the upper floor. The exhibits - over 700 specimens are all found by Werner Schmidt himself in the Valais Alps. The best known piece is a smoky quartz, a single crystal weighing 800 kg and 1.11 meters in length.

Das Museum wird von Werner Schmidt betrieben, einem der bekanntesten Berufsstrahler des Wallis. Im Erdgeschoss ist ein Laden für Kristalle und Mineralien; das Museum liegt im Obergeschoss. Die Ausstellungsstücke - über 700 Exemplare sind alle von Werner Schmidt in den Walliser Alpen selbst gefundene Kristalle. Das bekannteste Stück ist ein Rauchquarz, ein Einzelkristall von 800 kg Gewicht und 1.11 Meter Länge.
