St. Maria Königin ist eine katholische Pfarrkirche in Köln-Marienburg, direkt am Südpark. Sie wurde 1953 bis 1954 von Professor Dominikus Böhm gebaut, der Kirchturm wurde 1959 bis 1960 von seinem Sohn Gottfried Böhm angebaut. Aufgrund seiner ungewöhnlichen Architektur wurde die Kirche von der Zeitschrift ArchitectureWeek in die Liste der "Great Buildings of the World" aufgenommen.

Das gesamt Gebäude hat eine rote Ziegelsteinfassade und einen quadratischen Grundriss. Darüber ist ein Zeltdach mit einem kegelförmigen Turm auf der Spitze aufgespannt. An der Südseite ist die Wand mit grossen, bunten Glaselementen versehen, die die Kirche zum Südpark hin öffnen. Der Hauptaltar steht an der Westwand in einer kleinen Nische. Südlich der Kirche ist eine kleine Taufkapelle, die mit der Kirche verbunden ist.

Bis heute finden in der Kirche regelmäßig Gottesdienste, Taufen und Hochzeiten statt. Zur Weihnachtszeit wird eine Krippe aufgebaut.

St. Maria Königin is a Catholic parish church in Cologne-Marienburg, directly at the park Südpark. It was built from 1953 to 1954 by Professor Dominikus Böhm, the belltower was added from 1959 to 1960 by his son Gottfried Böhm. Because of its unusual architecture, the church was included in the list of "Great Buildings of the World" by the magazine ArchitectureWeek.

The entire building has a red brick facade and a square floor plan. A helm roof with a conical tower on top is stretched over it. On the south side, the wall is provided with large, colorful glass elements that open the church to the park. The main altar is on the west wall in a small niche. South of the church is a small baptistery that is connected to the church.

To this day, church services, baptisms and weddings take place regularly in the church. A nativity scene is set up at Christmas time.
