This bridge links the east and west sections of Da Nang City in central Vietnam. On the eastern side are the upmarket expat and higher-income area of the city and the South China Sea. On the larger western side is the city proper.

The bridge crosses the Han River near the city centre. The bridge is busy at all hours of the day and night. The bridge has won several design awards.

Construction began in 2010 and was completed in 2013. The bridge is 731 metres long and 34.5 metres wide. The bridge pylons are 145 meters high. There is a dedication stone at both entrances.

The bridge is used by automobiles and pedestrians.
