A rather tall wood carving carried out on a former tree. It shows broad leaves from ground to top.
As forester I would say it used to be a beech.
There is a geocache nearby, and also a small public library (waymarked too!)

Due to the carving I was not able to determine how it was carved. Most likely chainsaw in combination with smaller carving tools.
