Orgue de Notre Dame de Nantilly - Saumur - Pays de la Loire - FRA - Musical Instruments on Waymarking.com

L'orgue a été construit en 1685 (grand buffet) et 1690 (positif) par Pierre Le Helloco.
Dévasté lors de la terreur en 1793, il est en grande partie reconstruit vers 1847 par Louis Bonn, facteur d'orgues à Tours.
On remarquera les tourelles latérales du grand orgue portées par des atlantes.
L'orgue de Nantilly est parmi les rares de la région à avoir conservé une partie de l'instrument du 17° siècle.

Note the side turrets of the large organ carried by Atlanteans.
The Nantilly organ is among the few in the region to have preserved part of the 17th century instrument.
