The dark crystalline stone memorial is a small obelisk (~1.8 metre high), in front of a 1.2m high red-brick winged wall. The white-filled engraved inscription on the eastern base face reads:
In memory of
All who served their
Country in time of war
& now lie at rest
Their name liveth
for evermore.
While on the western side, on the base is the following white-filled engraved inscription:
