First Baptist Church Hobart is located on the northwest corner of 2nd Street and S. Jefferson. The campus includes a tan brick sanctuary, with a gabled roof and tall, segmented stained glass windows, as well as a three-story classroom/office building. To the north, additional extensions have been added in later years. The main building was constructed in 1959.

Sunday morning Bible study is at 10:00, with the worship service at 11:00. The services are broadcast live over KTJS 1420 AM. Sunday evening, there is a church-wide meal at 6PM followed by adult Bible study and youth groups. Women's Bible study groups meet during the week, as well as Men's Prayer times. There is a church-wide meal on Wednesday at 5PM, with youth activities following.
