Mr. Browder's Findagrave page indicates that he was something of an area mover and shaker, known as "The Industrial Father of Memphis" for having installed the Memphis Water Works. He also served multiple terms as both Hall County Commissioner, and mayor of Memphis, and was the first president of the First National Bank.

This vault monument has three support columns on each of the long sides, and on both sides of the cap are oak branches and acorns An angel is on one knee in prayer on a rock atop the cap, hands clasped to one side of his -- her? -- face. The family name, "Browder", is on the front plinth, and there are six panels:

1) Below a cross with a garland of roses is:

Margaret Ann
Browder,

Wife of
D. Browder,

Born Mar. 31, 1841,
Died Oct. 30, 1905.

We loved her, ah, no tongue
can tell,
How much we loved her and
how well!
God loved her, too, but
thought it best,
To take her to Himself
to rest.

2)

Darius Browder

Born
Sept. 4, 1839,
Died
Jan. 27, 1926.

God lives and
all is well.

3) A sheaf of wheat.

4) A mourning dove, flapping its wings.

5) A wreath of roses.

6) A funeral garland.

There are also two footstones, "Mother" and "Father", and buried in the family plot is Lurline Browder, a granddaughter.
