Four à pain 1038, rue du Rivage
[FR] Il y a un joli four à pain sur la pelouse, non loin de foyer extérieur. J'ai le même four chez moi. C'est un ouvrage ni rond, ni oval, fait ded'argile et paille; le tout doit être malaxé très longtemps avec les pieds avant d'être étendu sur le frame pré-assemblé. Il est posé sur un support de poutre de 8 * 8 pouces sur une hauteur de 1m; fini ce four devient très pesant. Il a un petit rebord pour appuyer la pelle et une porte en fonte (qu'un seul monsieur fait encore au Québec). C'est bien souvent une construction collective comme dans ce cas

[EN] There is a nice bread oven on the lawn, not far from the outdoor fireplace. I have the same oven at home. It is a work neither round nor oval, made of clay and straw; the whole must be mixed for a very long time with the feet before being laid on the pre-assembled frame. It is placed on a beam support of 8 * 8 inches on a height of 1m; finished this oven becomes very heavy. It has a small ledge to support the shovel and a cast iron door (which only one gentleman still does in Quebec). It is very often a collective construction as in this case
