Sekong town is the capital of the southern Laos province of the same name. The town is small and quiet. This bus station links the town to the nearby provinces and villages within the province. The town is also on the route to Vietnam.
The station consists of a covered area with seating and a set of ticket offices in a small attached building. There is a small hotel back from the station. The buses park around the covered area. It is a fairly informal station.
If you visit expect zero English, your mime skills will be tested. A quiet bus station. There are always one or two drivers who can take you into the town.
