These bright coloured jellyfish are present in many of the world's ocean waters. Most of them are not dangerous but other species can be deadly if they get startled by you brushing against them. Should this happen, they may sting you with their tentacles, at which point you may go into shock, lose consciousness, and even die as a result. Should you not know whether or not they are dangerous , you'd better stay clear of them. Jellyfish have been around for a very long time, even longer than dinosaurs. They can have vibrant pink, yellow, blue, and purple colours. They need to stay away from turtles, their number one enemy because iguanas are a source of food for them. Here, they appear to enjoy the warm water and the absence of prey.
