These multicoloured iguanas are absorbing the rays of the sun while perched on narrow branches in sunny Mexico. Iguanas are territorial and any threats from encroaching animals will will create tension and stress for them. An outward sign of this will be the curl in their tails. Iguanas are herbivorous lizard and one of the most popular reptile pets. They can, however, be a bit ornery when mature. You will recognize an iguana by its saggy skin, as well as their neck and tail spines.
