In front of the imposing building which now hosts the Direcção de Formação do Exército and was before the barracks of the Regimento de Infantaria de Évora (and before, Regimento de Dragões), there is a discreet homage to the men of Évora who fought and died in Africa (1961-1975).
As it is usual in this kind of monuments, there is a list of fatal casualties organized by territory (Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau).
It's a stone plaque, dated 20th September 2016 but looking older.
