The bell tower was in the middle of the church. In height, on the east side of the second pillar of the south wall, we see the remains of the spiral staircase that led to this bell tower. In 1370, order was given to the squire of Civray and the captain of Mauprévoir to destroy it, in execution of a decision of Edouard, prince of Aquitaine. In the 19th century a bell tower was built to the west, in front of the west facade

Le clocher se trouvait au milieu de l'église. En hauteur, du côté est du deuxième pilier du mur sud, on voit les restes de l'escalier à vis qui menait à ce clocher. En 1370, ordre était donné au châtelain de Civray et au capitaine de Mauprévoir de le détruire, en exécution d'une décision d'Edouard, prince d'Aquitaine. Au 19e siècle une tour clocher sera construite à l'ouest, devant la façade occidentale
