Rocky is a small town of approximately 155 population located on Highway 183 in Washita County. This abandoned Methodist Church is located at the corner of E. 4th Street and Madison.
Its granite cornerstone shows the date 1949. A worn wooden sign on the grounds shows that more recently a ministry known as Bethel 911 Ministries occupied the building.
This is a one-story tan brick building with a gable roof. All windows are double hung. A wood steeple rises above the front entrance which faces west. This entrance has double wood doors and a 5-step staircase, flanked by brick sidewalls.
