This black and white duck, feeling the chilling effect of the snow on this Ottawa Street, is high-tailing it out of here and heading to the warmer setting of Texas marshes where it will be joined by thousands more blanketing the Texas landscape. This duck is resolute in its commitment to leave this frozen speck of land for warmer climes. It is now in full flight, furiously beating its wings to maximum exertion to join the flock on their flight south. Upon approaching the flock at approximately 50 mph, this duck takes the lead to break the headwinds while the others follow behind in a V formation. Flying over the Alamo, it relinquishes its leading position and falls back to take a breather. Upon hearing the soothing sounds of Texas, our Texas, the ducks dive down striving for a suitable nesting spot near the water and wild grasses.
