This blue plaque issued by the Fife Historic Buildings Trust can be found on the red door of St.James the Great Episcopal Church on St Catherine Street, the eastern part of the A91 main thoroughfare through the Fife town of Cupar. The south-facing main facade of the building is on the north side of the street and the plaque reads as follows:
'ST.JAMES THE GREAT
Designed by Rowan Anderson. Built in 1867, with a later rood screen by Sir Robert Lorimer, to replace a smaller church erected here in 1820 as part of the St.Catherine Street development.'
The town crest also features on the plaque, above the text.
