The small red sandstone town of Kirriemuir in Angus, Scotland is known for being the birthplace of playwright JM Barrie who went on to be the creator of Peter Pan and this lucky 7 involves that theme in including various waymarks dotted around the town with the centre point being the childhood home of Barrie on Brechin Road just to the east of the town centre. The others are as follows:
The statue of Peter Pan situated in the town square.
A 'You Are Here' map in the town's main car park on Glengate.
The candy store 'The Star Rock Shop' in the centre of the town , the oldest continual sweet shop in Scotland.
The town's library, a red sandstone building typical of the architecture in the town centre.
Musician statue of Bon Scott, the AC/DC front man who was also from the town.
Neverland, the Captain Hook themed playpark on the Hill of Kirriemuir to the north.
