The Taplin Park Boat Ramp was upgraded in 2009 by the NSW Government and the City of Canada Bay Council. It gives good access to Parramatta River and by extension to Sydney Harbour. The concrete ramps have good depth diagonal grooves across them. There are two lanes to the south of a post tethered floating pontoon, with a further lane to the north. They are in good condition, with nighttime lighting to the car park. There are no wash down or fish cleaning facilities. Toilets may be accessed over at the stadium of the park during daylight hours. No pump out here, and not Kiosk or Fuel.
