The beach of Santa Cruz is a very popular beach and it is often busy even in low season; there is of course a reason for this, the waves are practically nonexistent. The beach of Santa Cruz is probably the calmest sea of the Oaxacan coast. It is also easily accessible, it is close to La Cruzacita, where all major tours and cruises depart. There are many restaurants with umbrellas, tables, and chairs and watersports facilities such as banana boats. It is however a small beach favored by families and can be a little crowded.
