The chronogram is located on the sandstone pedestal. The inscription is quite difficult to read. The Roman numerals of chronogram are larger than the other letters and are not color-coded from the rest of the text.

Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Podstavec koncí jednoduchou rímsou, na níž stojí sv. Jan Nepomucký s peti hvezdami nad hlavou. Celá socha vrcholí krížem, který zdvihá svetec nad hlavu. Provedením se podle Si-meona Zapletala odlišuje od ostatních soch Jana Nepomuckého v Telci, protože pozdviženou pravicí s krížem žehná mestu. Oblecen je v kanovnickém rouchu skládající se z kleriky, rochety a almuce. Lem rochety je zdobený háckováním a almuce je uvázána pod krkem uzlem se strapci. Biret leží u levé nohy na podstavci. Svetec je v mírne esovitém pohybu a je ztvárnen v kontrapostu s levou nohu nakrocenou dopredu, jeho bota je videt z pod kleriky. V levé ruce drží zavrenou knihu ve výšce stehen. Pravou ruku má zdviženou s krížem a korpusem Ježíše Krista, jeho loket je v pravém úhlu. Spolecne v ruce drží také list palmy, která symbolizuje cisto-tu. Vlasy má dlouhé, kudrnaté a vousy husté. Celá socha pusobí dojmem, že tíha kríže Jana Nepomuckého zaklání a dívá se na nej ze vzdálenosti své paže. Ježíš Kristus je na kríži v roušce s viditelnými hreby v nohách i v rukou a nad hlavou má nápis INRI.
