This is the main church of Principe, the smallest of the two islands of the country.

There isn't much information about this church. It's definitely the most important religious building in the island, located in the center of Santo António, the main village (and capital).
It has a simple interior which is very well preserved and maintained. The gates of the church are open during the day.
In front of it takes place the mysterious theater play, of unknown origins, Autos de Floripes, apparently medieval. The tradition has now deep roots in the community and is celebrated each year on the 15th of August.
