Sadly there isn't much information available about this church. Trindade was, before the independence and the collapse of the plantations, the only town in the island, besides the capital, São Tomé.
The church has a charming atmosphere, with a touch of decadence. It's located in a high position, not far from the National Road 3, which connects Sao Tome and Trindade. It's active, but closed most of the time.
