"Destreland is the largest shopping center in Guadeloupe and, with the Galléria center in Martinique, one of the largest shopping centers in the Lesser Antilles.
On October 24, 1990, the shopping center is made up of the Euromarché sign "accompanied by an outdoor patio housing some sixty shops, some of which are lodged in front of the boxes". Euromarché becomes Continent in 1993 and Carrefour in the 2000s.
In 1997, about twenty additional shops opened, and a space dedicated to DIY is occupied by Mr. Bricolage.
The shopping center expanded significantly in 2005, with "the creation of a new extension housing three new medium-sized surfaces devoted to sports, toys and books, but especially the realization of a 9 500 m2 car park ".
The number of shops increased by around 30 in 2005, then by the same number in 2006, with the creation that year of a second 12,000 m2 car park.
It includes three large areas: Carrefour, Mr. Bricolage and Decathlon. The shopping mall, which stretches nearly 800 meters long on two levels, includes 180 shops and restaurants. Destreland is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 9 pm. "

Le 24 octobre 1990, le centre commercial est constitué de l'enseigne Euromarché « accompagnée d'un patio extérieur abritant une soixantaine de boutiques dont quelques-unes se logent face aux caisses ». Euromarché devient Continent en 1993 puis Carrefour dans les années 2000.

Le nombre de boutiques augmente d'une trentaine en 2005, puis du même nombre environ en 2006, avec la création cette année-là d'un deuxième parking aérien de 12 000 m2.
Il regroupe notamment trois grandes surfaces : Carrefour, Monsieur Bricolage et Décathlon. La galerie commerciale qui s’étend sur près de 800 m de long sur deux niveaux regroupe 180 boutiques et restaurants. Destreland est ouvert du lundi au vendredi de 8 h 30 à 20 h 30 et le samedi de 8 h 30 à 21 h. "
