Praia Micondo is accessible from a muddy short road, but it's also possible to just leave the car by the asphalted National Road 2 and walk a couple of hundred meters.
The sand is dark, flat, and the sea is calm. There is a friendly guy living nearby. He sells handcraft and takes basic care of the beach.
