News spread quickly when actor Matt Damon was in Oklahoma doing research for a film. The Garage near the OSU campus was one of the location he visited. A funny tweet was posted from the establishment, joking that he was Mark Wahlberg.

Matt Damon visits The Garage in Stillwater on Sunday
Matt Damon was in Oklahoma this weekend, reportedly for film research.
Photos have surfaced on social media of Damon in Oklahoma City on Saturday night and in Stillwater on Sunday.
Sherry Richelle said Damon and Tom McCarthy, an accomplished director and screenwriter, came into the McNellie's pub in Midtown OKC and asked to sat down next to her and her friends.
She told them the seats were reserved, but then she realized who she was talking to. Richelle said she later apologized for telling them they couldn't sit with her and her friends.
"They said I was the rudest person in Oklahoma," Richelle laughed.
She added that Damon and McCarthy were “very cool guys.”
Stillwater News Press reports Damon dropped into its town the following day, stopping at the Modella Art Gallery and a burger joint.
The Garage – the burger place – tweeted a photo of Damon with the caption: “We are proud to introduce our newest employee, Mark Wahlberg!”
The Garage clarified that it was a joke. They know their A-list Hollywood actors from Boston.
Stillwater News Press reports Damon told Oklahoma State University art instructor Ulli Schoenknecht, with whom he also took a photo, that he was in town doing film research.
