Scott started his sculpture with a model of curvy Lombard Street and he thought it would be cool to be able to roll a ping pong ball down the street. Over the year he added such recognizable items as Cable Cars, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, Coit Tower, the Transamerica Pyramid, Chinatown, Alcatraz, The Palace of Fine Arts, Sutro tower, the Ferry Building Clock Tower, the 1929 Cliff House, the Painted Ladies, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, a Windmill from Golden Gate Park and the Coke Bottle and Mitt from the Giants Stadium. This is an ongoing sculpture as he's working at home on a 39 inch model of the Salesforce Tower to be added eventually.
The sculpture include toothpicks from different countries around the world. There are bushes, mushrooms, palm trees and landscaping. There's a model of Scott doing the Alcatraz swim as well as a handstand on his skateboard. When Scott was married, his guests threw toothpicks at them, which were collected and then added to the sculpture.
