Shute park is located at 775 SE 10th Avenue Hillsboro, OR 97123. This mosaic is located near the main entrance to the Shute Park Library which shares the parking lot with the park. The coordinates are set to the mosaic location. This park and most Hillsboro parks are open dawn to dusk.

From the Park Webpage: "The pavers were part of the branch library renovation, with designs that were inspired by the Douglas fir motifs etched into the windows of the library and Native American rock art. The project was conceived as a community-built project, where members of the community participated in the fabrication of the pavers."

When the Shute Park Library was renovated recently a large outdoor patio was built off the main entrance. Lynn Adamo, a local artist, was commissioned to create the 15 mosaics to decorate the patio. She named the five different designs and this one is called "Tree Design #1". Lynn works in traditional mosaic glass smalti, stone and ceramic and these mosaics were all created in 2014. They are all the same size, 24 inches by 24 inches.
