Universal's Volcano Bay is a tropical-themed water park located at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando.
Volcano Bay is owned and operated by Universal Parks & Resorts and replaced Wet 'n Wild as Universal Orlando Resort's water park.

The park is themed around a 200-foot-tall (61 m) volcano named "Krakatau," and opened on 25th May 2017. It is open all year with the water heated in the winter.

Volcano Bay's attractions are located in four themed areas; Krakatau, Wave Village, River Village and Rainforest Village, each area is inspired by various Polynesian islands and cultures.

The centerpiece of the park "Krakatau", a 200-foot-tall (61 m) volcano has waterfalls during the day and lava flows at night.

The following report by Michael Hollan for Fox News appeared in The Sun online on 4th June 2019.
"UNIVERSAL Orlando was forced to close Volcano Bay water park during the weekend after guests and staff were "electrocuted" in the area.
Reports of guests and staff being "zapped" emerged on Sunday, leading to the closure of the area.
The Orlando Fire Department responded to reports of an incident at the park on Sunday, News 13 reported.
Tom Schroder, a spokesperson for Universal, told the outlet that the employees were taken to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution."
As a spokesperson for Universal told Fox News, "Yesterday we had some technical issues at Volcano Bay. As a result, we closed the park early while we worked to resolve this issue.
"Out of an abundance of caution, a small number of our team members were transported to the hospital and all were released and fine last night. We are back to regular park operation today."
Universal didn’t specify what the technical issue was, or why exactly the employees were sent to the hospital.
The area re-opened on Monday.
A Universal Orlando spokesperson told Sun Online Travel: "We had a technical issue at Volcano Bay, which has been resolved.
"We temporarily closed the park while we resolved this issue and, out of an abundance of caution, had a small group of team members checked out at a hospital.
"Our team members were all quickly released and are fine and no guests were transported to the hospital.
