Esther Charlotte Meisenheimer Gullick
"Esther Charlotte Gulick, 77, of Sedalia, MO died Thursday, April 10, 2003 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

"She was born August 14, 1925, in Pilot Grove, Missouri, daughter of Richard and Lottie Freiss Meisenheimer. Her father died when she was only 2 weeks old. On August 11, 1957, in Sedalia, she married Melvin Lee Gulick, who died September 2, 2001.

"Mrs. Gulick was a member of the United Church of Christ, where she was past President of Church Women United. She was also a member of Flat Creek Extension and the Nurses' Association. She worked at Bothwell Regional Health Center for 8 years. She was a regional county health nurse for several years and worked for Dr. Lowe for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a 1943 graduate of Pilot Grove High School and a 1945 graduate of Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She had lived in the Sedalia area since 1947.

"Survivors include a niece, Deanna Atler of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two nephews, Gary McDaniel and Larry McDaniel, both of Kansas City, Missouri; several cousins, including Oscar Meisenheimer of Pilot Grove and Herman Meisenheimer of Smithton.

"Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Immanuel United Church of Christ at 4th & Vermont in Sedalia, with Rev. Nancy L. Tanner Thies officiating.

"Pallbearers will be Darrell Meisenheimer, Kenneth Meisenheimer, Rusty Lane, John Cornell, Steve Barnes and Wayne Baslee.

"Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

"The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

"The family suggests memorial contributions to the church or to the charity of the donor's choice." ~ Ancestry
