Aquatica Orlando is a water park owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment that opened in 2008.
Aquatica Orlando is located at 5800 Water Play Way, Orlando, Florida 32821, and is open year-round, weather permitting.
"The park is themed to the southern Pacific, and features Australian and New Zealand based mascots including Roa (a kiwi), Kata (a kookaburra), Wai (a Commerson's dolphin), Ihu (a gecko), Papa (a royal spoonbill), Wae Wae (a takahe), and Motu (a turtle).
The park features a wide array of attractions for all ages and swimming abilities, some of which pass by or through animal habitats. The park has two wave pools which share an extensive, 80,000-square-foot (7,400 m2) man made white-sand beach area equipped with deck chairs, sun beds and umbrellas." Source: (

"Aquatica’s newest attraction, Ray Rush, leads the park’s line-up of unforgettable experiences, providing three ways to slide, splash and soar in a four-person raft ride designed to look like the wings of a giant manta.
Take a solo run through Ihu’s Breakaway Falls — the steepest multi-drop tower in Orlando — or race through a roaring sea of high tides at Roa’s Rapids. Travel through a school of playful, black-and-white Commerson’s dolphins from inside an enclosed, see-through tube at Dolphin Plunge.
The latter has an underwater viewing area for younger guests, who will also enjoy kid-centric attractions like Kata’s Kookaburra Cove and Walkabout Waters. And the whole family can frolic together at the Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores wave pools." Source: (
