It is from this location that Max and Miriam Yasgur gave away water and milk for the folks arriving at the Woodstock Festival. Hee weas quoted "take every empty milk bottle from the plant, fill them with water and give them to the kids, and give away all the milk and milk products we had at the dairy."
The Woodstock Festival field is located less than 3 miles which was owned by the Yasgur.
