Covell Dog Park is located on the northwest side of the City of Grand Rapids, on the northeast corner of Covell Ave. and Bridge St. NW. Before it was established in November 2013, the fenced, two-acre area was already in informal use by dog owners, so citizens raised the money needed to convert the space into Grand Rapids' second official dog park.
The first dog park established in Grand Rapids is Hillcrest Dog Park, located in the Fulton Heights neighborhood.
