1879-1907 - 1881-1961
The Stuart brothers started their careers in hockey together with the Senators in 1899. Over the next few years they played for a variety of different teams, sometimes together. Each won a Stanley Cup with the Montreal Wanderers - William in 1907. Bruce in 1908. William died as a result of a diving accident in the summer of 1907. Bruce eventually returned to the Ottawa Senators, coaching and playing from 1909 to 1912 and winning two more cups. William Stuart was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945, Bruce in 1961.

Les frères Stuart ont débuté leur carrière de hockey ensemble avec les Senators en 1899. Au cours des prochaines années, ils ont joué pour une variété d’équipes différentes, quelque fois ensemble.
