The Broken Column is unusual, in that there is no inscription on its base, rather, it is on the white marble grave slab! Unfortunately much of the lead lettering to infill the engraving has weathered away. There are two raised white marble urns for bunches of flowers at the 'foot' end of the horizontal marble slab.
