Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Výška sochy = 220 cm, celková výška s podstavcem cca 650 cm. Na ctyrbokém podstavci ukonceném výraznou profilovanou rímsou je osazena socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého v nadživotní velikosti. Horní cást podstavce osazeného na ctvercové stupnovité podeste je ze stran mírne projmuta. Jeho celní a bocní strany doplnují oválná zrcadla v jednoduchých plochých rámech propojená páskou obíhající podstavec. V zrcadle je obtížne citelný nekolikarádkový tesaný nápis frakturou: Zur / Ehre und Glori / dem Heiligen Joanni von Nepomuk / dem Vatter Land zum Trost / hat der hochedle Herr Johannes Hilarius Sch / midt gebohrener Römerstädter und der / zeit deß hohen Deutchen Ordens der / Herrschafft Freudenthal Meritirter / Rentamtsmeister get / reuer Client diese Statue aufrichten / lassen . // KaI [ ... ] r LIChe Wessen / gVte SIegIMLnuD / has[ ... ] VerWaI. Profilovaná rímsa podstavce je z celní a zadní strany v ose konvexne projmuta. Svetec v kontrapostu je oden v tradicním šate. Pravou rukou pridržuje kríž, který podpírá levou rukou. Kolem hlavy hvezdná svatozár.
