The dark-grey speckled granite cylindrical column has a sloping 'break' at the top, and sits on a rectangular prism of cut and polished grey granite, on a chamfered squatter cut block, which then sits on a series of faced granite slabs. The engraved inscriptions may have been infilled, but at my visit they were very difficult to transcribe. The main text reads:

ARTHUR HULANCE
[HUGHIE] McINTYRE
devoted and beloved
Husband of PATIENCE
who passed beyond
March 23 1922
aged 35 years
------
also PATIENCE
died 13th April 1959
There is a further engraved inscription on the cut/polished lower block, but it is too hard to decipher the text there!
