The two-story Opera House building at 225 E. Main was constructed in 1907. On its west wall at the second floor level is a large painted sign reading "Drink Coca-Cola".

The Coca-Cola story is an amazing one. Originally created by a pharmacist in 1886, it was named for its primary ingredients - coca leaves and kola nuts. Over the decades, it has remained a top selling drink, now marketed in over 200 countries, with a daily serving usage of 1.8 billion servings. Wow! I guess people followed these signs' entreaty "Drink Coca-Cola".
