Below the Woodmen of the World emblem is "Orchard Camp No. 72", and there are multiple epitaphs: Note the second one is a (mis)quote from Shakespeare's "Othello". The inscription reads:

Just in the morning of his day
In youth and love he passed away

W.F. Griffin

Born
Nov. 23, 1871,

Entered Rest
June 24, 1901.

"Here is my journeys end,
here is my birth
And the very sea mark of
my upward sail."

-----

The family name, "Griffin", is on the reverse plinth, with another epitaph above:

"Our departing loved ones
are pioneers to smooth
Our rugged path to death,
to break those bars
Of terror and abhorrence
nature throws
Cross our obstructed way,
and thus to make
Welcome as safe, our
port from every storm."
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
