With over 250 native Puget Sound species, the multiple tank aquarium features two touch pools, a jellyfish life cycle display, and a 38-foot Gray Whale skeleton.
While it mostly a learning environment for Highland College students, the public is free to enter on Saturdays throughout the year and Thursdays in June, July, and August.
And even if you are not a student the MaST Center requires volunteers to help run the various programs that happen through this facility. It's a great place to spend an hour or two learning about the various issues facing Puget Sounds aquatic life.
