The National Register's Registration Form (see Optional link, below) lists this one as "200 S Main" -- note its position on the corner on the map on page eight -- but earlier in the narrative, it correctly refers to the church as the First Presbyterian Church with an address at 206 S Main! Today, this property's physical address is 204 S Main. The Registration Form doesn't really say much otherwise, although it mentions the use of rough-face limestone and a square-plan with a corner tower that evokes English tradition.
There is a cornerstone near the entrance, but it's either been worn smooth or possibly flipped around, as it's blank. The Weatherford Presbyterian Church's website does provide some history, noting the sanctuary's completion in 1896 as the Weatherford Presbyterian Church, U.S., and its becoming the First Presbyterian Church, U.S. in 1900. There's a photo showing the sanctuary in its original form, which included an impressive bell tower which was damaged by lightning in 1945 and removed (when the congregation was the Grace First Presbyterian Church), giving the sanctuary its present appearance. Interestingly, "Weatherford", in Arcadia's Images of America series, shows the church in its original configuration in a few photos, gives it a construction year of 1886, and provides "200 S Main" as its address. Apparently, worship was discontinued here in the 1970s, and only recently is the sanctuary being used again.
