Juan-les-Pins is a historic seaside resort and popular tourist town at the Côte d'Azur. It is famous for fine grained sand beaches and sunny weather as well as its connection to the Jazz music, being the venue of one of the largest Jazz festivals in France.
At the promenade Boulevard Edouard Baudoin right at the city's beach is the historic Café de la Plage. It sells snacks, drinks, ice cream and cocktails at a dear price with a great view over the sea.
The facade of the building features a large, old clock, mounted above the entrance to the café. The round face of the clock is white with black, large Latin numbers. A small logo of the café is included in the center of the face. The hands are made from iron and are dark grey. The clock is visible from the entire promenade and shows pedestrians the current time.
