Raymon Granillo was riding his bike to work on the morning of June 17, 2019. He was struck from behind by a car at 4:30 AM and died of his injuries a few days later. He was southbound on Cooper Road where the bike lane had ended and traffic passes through a narrow two lane section. News video shows his bike light still flashing some time after the crash. The driver apparently was distracted.
