The eastern part of Rawson Park is designated a 'Leash Free Zone'. The northern part of the 'Leash-Free Zone' is bounded by Bradley Bushland Reserve. If you look at your left-hand, palm-down, the thumb would be the Leash-Free area, with the rest of the hand being the Rawson Oval and Rawson Pavilion, and the wrist would be the Drill Hall Common, neither of which allows off-leash dogs. There is car parking near the Drill Hall, at the end of Cross Street.
The Off-Leash area starts at the eastern side of the Oval, and extends to a path at the eastern end that heads down to the military zone. Near some of the circuit exercise equipment is a container with plastic poop bags.
