This fountain is located in the new historical garden of Andernach near the Rhine. As a part of this garden, it unobtrusively joins the finds from Roman times that are also exhibited there.
The fountain consists of basalt stone. The back wall is set up on edge and from there the water flows into the basin in front of it, also made of basalt stone. In this basin a drain channel with a slight gradient has been incorporated, so that the water can seep into the gulli installed in front of the well.
The water from the well is drinking water.
