Presentation of: SAINT-PIERRE AND SAINT-PAUL CHURCH - CHERRE
The church is built is rebuilt in the 19th century but retains its 17th century bell tower.
It is completely destroyed by fire during the Chouannerie from where its recent reconstruction. In 1967, work updates the paintings of Calvary and three statues without head, one of which represents Saint-Séréné. They probably come from the Plessis aux Nonnains, an estate located on Cherré, and certainly dates from the end of the 11th century.
