Roth (früher Roth am Sand und Roth bei Nürnberg) ist die Kreisstadt des mittelfränkischen Landkreises Roth. Die fränkische Stadt liegt in der Metropolregion Nürnberg 22 km südlich von Nürnberg und am nördlichen Rand des Fränkischen Seenlandes.
